This Privacy Policy explains how TekhneAI (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide through tekhneai.com. We keep it short and plain-English on purpose — your time is valuable and so is your trust.

Who we are

TekhneAI is an early-stage product building AI tools for small trades and industrial businesses. You can reach us anytime at info@tekhneai.com.

What we collect

When you fill out the signup form on our homepage, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your business name
• Your consent checkbox status and the time you submitted the form

We do not collect payment information, social security numbers, or any other sensitive identifiers. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. The only cookies that may be set are functional cookies from our hosting provider (Netlify) required to serve the site.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

• Reply to you personally about the product and your potential fit
• Send occasional product launch and feature update emails (only if you consented at signup)
• Understand what kinds of businesses are interested, so we can build the right product

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where it’s stored

Your submission is stored in two places: (1) Netlify Forms, our hosting provider’s form submission system, and (2) a Google Workspace (Gmail for Business) inbox at info@tekhneai.com. Both services use encryption in transit and at rest. Form submissions are also protected by Google reCAPTCHA for bot prevention; reCAPTCHA’s use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

How long we keep it

We retain your information until one of the following happens: (a) you ask us to delete it, (b) you unsubscribe and ask us not to keep your record, or (c) three years pass with no interaction, after which we will delete it automatically. If you unsubscribe but do not request deletion, we keep a minimal record (email only) on a suppression list so we don’t accidentally email you again.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

• Ask what information we have about you
• Ask us to correct or delete your information
• Unsubscribe from our emails at any time
• Withdraw your consent to future emails

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and the CCPA, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email info@tekhneai.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect, who can access it, and how long we keep it.

Children

TekhneAI is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and, if the change is material, email anyone on our list at the time of the change. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the most recent revision.
